Thanks for joining me!
As I list good manners amongst the things I love, it's only right that I give you a proper introduction.
I'm a scientist by education, an analyst and operations lover by design and a broadway performer in spirit. Also a proud nerd, writer, dreamer, certified book worm, amateur quantum theorist and grammar purist.
I've been writing online since 2005, but this is my first step into marking my musings as my own. Why am I only doing that now? Well, there's a lot of pressure to 'label' yourself as a blogger/writer; do you write about fashion? Do you write exclusively about advertising? I really think you should specialise in one area and stick with it. Is this a political blog? Are you qualified to say that?
But as I'm fond of saying, holes are for pigeons. I'm not a pigeon so good luck finding a hole to fit me in.
I write about what I like, what I don't like, and most importantly - the stuff that interests me. I'm interested in most things, but top of my list are people, learning, fun and challenges. You can expect a little bit of everything; consider the blog my brain's journal.
I welcome connections and feedback, so please leave your comments or suggestions - I'm always on the look out for interesting people and interesting things to write about!
Contrary by name, Contrary by nature.
